Breakdown Of The Bonus Offer In Our Ladbrokes Reviews

Ladbrokes have a solid signup bonus offer for their customers. When signing up you can claim free bets without needing to use a bonus code. This bonus is available on both the UK and Ireland markets.

ountryWelcome OfferMin Odds for Initial Bet
UK£5 bet get 4x £5 in free bets1/2
Ireland€5 bet get 4x €5 in free bets1/2

You need to place your first bet within 14 days of opening your account at minimum odds of 1/2 to qualify for the free bet credits. The free bets are only valid for 7 days and the initial stake isn’t returned. You can only use the free bets on selected sports markets too. For more on this bonus, check out our Ladbrokes bonus review.

Overall, this is one of the best welcome bonuses on the market. Compared to William Hill and Unibet, both offer more in free bets – but you have to wager more in the first place, meaning the bonus return isn’t as good. You are also restricted to certain markets, but there are still 20 sports to place your free bets on.

How I Can Register for Ladbrokes Quickly and Hassle Free

Signing up for Ladbrokes is a fairly simple process, and you only need to follow a few steps to have your Ladbrokes account up and running.

  1. Go to Site: First off, navigate to the Ladbrokes site, or mobile, and click on the join button on the upper right corner of your screen.
  2. Add Personal Details: On the form that appears, you’ll need to put in all your personal details to get the ball rolling. This includes your full name, your address, your country of residence, your User ID, and your password.
  3. Set Your Deposit Limit: Once all your details are confirmed, you have an account. Navigate to the Gambling Controls option in your account drop down menus and set a deposit limit for yourself. It’s smart to do this now, as Ladbrokes has something called a ‘limit period’, where you won’t be able to lift the deposits for a certain amount of time. That can be over the course of a week, a month or multiple months.
  4. Make a Deposit: You need to make a minimum £5 deposit to start your account. Navigate to the deposit section of your account. At this point, you’ll also be presented with the option to gain access to the signup bonus offer we mentioned earlier on in this Ladbrokes review. Just check the box to confirm that.
  5. Terms and Conditions: You’ll be taken to the terms and conditions, and once you agree to them, you can sign up to the platform. You’ve now signed up to Ladbrokes, and you’re free to start betting!

What Features Are Available in My Region?

The Ladbrokes platforms in the UK and in Ireland are very similar, so there won’t be a whole pile of difference for most customers. However, there is a minor difference or two. We decided to highlight that in a brief table below.

LadbrokesIrelandUK
Customer Promos
24/7 Customer Support
Live Streaming and Updates

Audio Commentary

Prediction Games

Ladbrokes have a decent offering for their punters – they include audio commentary and live streaming which isn’t always a given for sportsbooks. They’ve also provided a decent mobile app for players to use and are staying up to date with their eSports offerings. The main difference is that you miss out on free to play prediction games in the Irish sportsbook, but that’s just one of many types of offers.

What is the Ladbrokes App Like to Use and Play With?

Ladbrokes have set the industry standard with sportsbooks. The same can certainly be said for the brilliant mobile app that they have created. It is free on both the Play Store and the App Store, and it doesn’t take up too much space on your device.

The design of it, first of all, is well put together. The simple red and white colour scheme is patterned after the desktop, and the overall presentation is simple to follow. You have your homepage, your live betting page, a search bar which brings you to your search page, and your account page.

One thing we really liked when creating our Ladbrokes reviews is that the home page automatically changes to your tastes. The app will automatically customise the sports you tend to bet on the most, so you’ll get the best Ladbrokes odds for your favourite sports at your fingertips after just a few uses.

For payments, the account links directly to your bank app (or your Revolut, if you are based in Ireland) and makes payments quick, simple and hassle free. At its core, it is simple, but its simplicity makes for a much better user experience. It’s no wonder we consider it one of the top betting apps out there right now.

What Payment Methods Do Ladbrokes Have Available?

Ladbrokes have a large range of payment methods available to their customers, on both the deposits and withdrawals side of things. We’ve separated the two sections out, so we can fully cover what Ladbrokes brings to the table. Overall, they’ve got a decent option of payments – the only drawback we can see is that they currently don’t accept any crypto payments.

Deposits

Ladbrokes has a good range of debit card and eWallet payments for their deposits. Those payment methods include:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Skrill
  • Neteller
  • Maestro
  • PayPal
  • Paysafecard
  • Apple Pay

All of these methods are instant, and there’s no fees. The minimum deposit amount is £5/€5, and the maximum amount is £/€2,000. For PayPal, however, the minimum deposit is automatically £10/€10.

Withdrawals

The withdrawal methods for Ladbrokes are almost identical to deposits. The full list of the withdrawal methods include:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Maestro
  • Neteller
  • Skrill
  • PayPal
  • Paysafe
  • Bank Transfer

Most withdrawals will take from 1-3 working days, however Paysafe and Neteller can be instant. The minimum withdrawal depends on the payment type. Most are £5/€5, apart from both Neteller, and Bank Transfer, which requires a minimum of £10/€10.

The maximum withdrawal is £50,000 / €55,000 across the board. Bank transfer is the only exception here at £70,000/€75,000. There are also no fees on withdrawals.

How is Dealing with Ladbrokes Customer Service?

Ladbrokes customer service is helpful and efficient in getting to the bottom of any issues. There are a few ways you can contact the service: [email protected], through their social media channels (Facebook and X), or through the live chat function.

You can also contact the phone numbers (1800 200 539 for Ireland, and 0800 777 888 for the UK). However, we would not recommend calling as getting through via phone can take far too long, and we personally believe it to be the weakest part of their entire customer support team.

In our Ladbrokes reviews we found the live chat to be the most helpful. We enquired about an issue we had with a deposit, and they immediately responded with three solutions to our issue. The live chat is not only 24/7; it’s instant, helpful and understanding of your frustrations.

The email can take longer, but within one working day, you can have a response team to help you. On the customer and help page, found at the bottom, you can also find a detailed FAQ section, which will help you with common issues. Apart from the weak phone line, we have to say, our Ladbrokes rating is high for their customer service.

Is Ladbrokes a Safe and Secure Platform to Bet With?

We can confirm in all our Ladbrokes reviews, that Ladbrokes is one of the most secure sportsbooks in the world today. They are fully licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, the Licensing Authority of Gibraltar, and Liquor and Gaming New South Wales. They’ve also been certified many times over, by the likes of GamCare and eCogra. Their website is also fully secure, being certified and secured by DigiCert.

Another safety measure Ladbrokes have that we appreciate is a whole dedicated section of their website to Responsible Gambling. This includes details on how important deposit limits are, the ‘cool off’ function, and tips on how to stay in control. Ladbrokes has gone above and beyond to make sure their platform is safe, and that is why our Ladbrokes review found it so reliable.

Does Ladbrokes Have a Loyalty Program?

Ladbrokes has an unusual loyalty program organised through its Grid Card. This is more common with supermarkets – where you are sent a card and it’s linked to your sportsbook account, so every time you spend money with Ladbrokes (sportsbook or casino) you earn points and get certain rewards. You need to apply for the card through the Ladbrokes website.

Other Ongoing Promotions

Ladbrokes also have a great promotions page, that is constantly updating with valuable bonuses that you can take advantage of at any point. They often provide free bets when a certain amount is bet on horse racing or darts matches.

We also want to bring up the acca promos in this Ladbrokes review. Ladbrokes have an acca boost available on their promotions page. You can boost the bet at any point, which will increase your odds by at least 1.0. You can track it, which gives you full control of your acca: remove losing legs, or cash it out early if you’d like. The absolute customisation on accumulators with these promotions is next to none, and if you’re looking for a Ladbrokes test bonus, to try out how the sports platform feels, this is the one.

How Is The Ladbrokes Platform To Use?

Using the Ladbrokes desktop has always been flashy, but it is never in your face about it. The red and white colour scheme has become synonymous with Ladbrokes at this point, with the latest promotions on the top banner, and the latest hot sports painted across the home page.

The structure is straightforward to navigate, with a live betting page available on the top banner (alongside the most popular sports), your account in the top corner and a full list of sports available on the leftmost banner. The site is so full of content, that this review feels it can sometimes suffer from that. There is so much going on that we can see a novice bettor feeling like the desktop is a little cluttered and overwhelming, but it should be quick enough to learn if they stick with it.

The betting process itself is simple. Your odds (decimal, fractional and American all available to switch through in settings) are clearly displayed to the player, and all you have to do is click on the team/person you want to back. Your betslip will appear in the right hand bottom corner, and you can slide it up and down whenever you want to have a look at it.

Functionally, the site operates quickly, and there’s very little delay navigating your way around the site. All in all, there is very little to critique about the desktop. It may not be one of the flashy new betting sites, but their traditional approach remains effective.

Ladbrokes Has Plenty of Markets to Choose From

There are plenty of different sports we can highlight in this Ladbrokes sports review. They have all the classics.

The popular sports like football, horse racing, rugby, MMA and tennis all have in depth markets available to them. There’s also sports like athletics, badminton, water polo, Gaelic Games and even surfing! What we really want to focus on, however, is the markets within these 50 sports.

Over/Under on goals, first team to score, both teams to score, double chance, the amount of yellow cards, if any red cards will appear, player to outscore the opposition – there is such a depth of betting markets available in football, and the same goes for sports such as rugby and horse racing. We have yet to find another platform that can do it like this.

What are the Ladbrokes Sports Odds Like?

The Ladbrokes odds are definitely competitive, and that’s across the board. Let’s take for example a Liverpool and Nottingham Forest game. The odds on Liverpool to win are 8/15, the odds on Nottingham Forest are 9/2, and the odds on a draw are 10/3. If we calculate the odds overround here, the odds overround is roughly 106%.

Now this is industry standard, and that matches William Hill and Unibet, but does beat out platforms like 1xBet who have 107%. However, you’ll really find the odds are valuable across the board, especially the in depth ones. The odds on Gakpo to take three shots or more, for example, are 9/2. Odds on over/under of there only being one goal are 21/5 on under, and 1/7 on over. These odds are quite valuable, and worth checking out simply for the depth of them.

What is Ladbrokes Live Betting and Streaming Like?

Ladbrokes have a valuable live betting platform, that we’d recommend you check out if you like the thrill of live betting. There’s a decent range of markets at your disposal (25+) which is more than most sportsbooks would give you for live betting. Placing live bets has very little delay, being done within five seconds. However, what we are impressed by is the statistics.

Ladbrokes will show you a graph that indicates what the possession has been like, how many shots on target per team, how many corners have been taken. The breakdown and statistical analysis of the game in the live betting section is phenomenal, and according to our Ladbrokes reviews, we’d say next to none. The Ladbrokes live stream is also quite high quality, but it depends on the sport. Football, horse racing and rugby will all be in 4K, and some darts games will be too. However, other sports streams will only be average quality, which is to be expected.

What are the Betting Limits Like At Ladbrokes?

We’ve put together a table that indicates what the full betting limits, and winning limits are across popular sports. (Quick limits are when a sportsbook limits how much you can bet, due to a player repeatedly betting large amounts of money). Ladbrokes have an amazing low betting limit of 1p across all sports – so their limits will work for people with a very wide budget range.

Betting LimitsMaximum Betting LimitMaximum Winning LimitQuick Limits?
Football£/€5000£/€500,000
Horse Racing£/€5000£/€500,000
Rugby£/€5000£/€100,000
Other Sports£/€2000£/€100,000

When you compare these maximum betting and winning limits to some of the comparable bookies, you will find that you are able to bet a higher amount of money, but the maximum winning limit is similar to the likes of Betfred. It’s not astronomically high for the most popular sports on the site, but it will suit average bettors.

A Simple, But Reliable Sports Betting Brand

Ladbrokes have put together a well-rounded sports betting experience that is difficult to top by any other sportsbook. The reason they truly excel is the depth they offer across the board. Depth of betting markets and odds, decent maximum betting limits, and the detail of the live betting platform means this Ladbrokes review has very little to criticise about the overall platform, save for increasing maximum win limits to compete better with bigger brands in the industry. All we can say is, whether you’re a novice or experienced bettor, Ladbrokes is a sports betting platform that suits everybody.

Ladbrokes Hits a Home Run In All Regards

It wouldn’t be fair to say that Ladbrokes is a perfect sportsbook. No platform is perfect. However, we firmly believe in our Ladbrokes review that they have crafted a great sports betting experience that is safe and legitimate.

A solid signup bonus, incentives for loyal bettors, easy to use payment options, a smooth desktop and a helpful customer service all make for a well rounded and user friendly platform. Apart from some minor, minor issues, everything else is just an easy day at the office. We’d recommend you sign up to Ladbrokes, whether via their main site or app, and make the most of all their great features as soon as you can!
