What’s an Accumulator Calculator?

Our accumulator betting calculator takes in your stake and the odds of all your selections to quickly generate the potential payout that you can expect if your acca bet wins. It does this by first converting the odds into decimal (if necessary). The calculator then multiples the odds together to get the total odds for the acca bet and then uses those odds to determine what your potential payout will be. All of this, of course, is done behind the scenes. What you’ll see is simply the potential payout, making it easier to understand if the bet is right for you or not.

Why Should You Use an Online Accumulator Calculator?

Our accumulator calculator makes it very easy to understand the potential payout associated with your acca bet. This way you can work out if adding a longer odds option (as you’ll see below) is worth the risk for you. Do remember, of course, that you need to win the entire acca bet and not cash out early in order to actually receive the potential payout that our acca calculator generates.

Accumulator Betting in a Nutshell

Accumulator betting means adding two or more selections into one bet. For you to win, all selections must win. Acca bets can be made on selections that would occur within a single game, or you can build an acca bet that takes place across several games or a season. Each selection you add to your acca bet naturally lengthens the odds and makes it more unlikely you’ll win the whole thing, but at the same time, this also increases the potential payout. This means you can bet small (for example, the bet minimum) and still get a decent return if you do win. If you don’t, then the bet was so small that often you can easily afford to lose it.

Let’s See an Accumulator Bet Example

Let’s build an acca bet and put our accumulator bet calculator to work. In this example, let’s use the Premier League Wolverhampton vs Arsenal match and build an accumulator bet. These are the selections that we’ve made:

  • Moneyline (Arsenal to Win): 1.36
  • Bukayo Saka to Score Anytime: 2.50
  • Gabriel Jesus to Score a Header: 15.00
  • Both Teams to Score (Yes): 1.95

Let’s put those figures into our betting accumulator calculator. Our stake is £10 in total.

The calculator will then multiply those stakes together to find the total odds:

1.36 x 2.50 x 15.00 x 1.95 = 99.45

Now that the calculator has the acca bet’s total odds, it can then work out potential payout:

£10 x 99.45 = £994.50

Thanks to those long odds on Gabriel Jesus to score a header, our potential payout if all four selections of our acca bet wins would be a whopping £994.50 – and that’s just with a modest £10 initial stake.

What are the Benefits of Accumulator Betting?

There are many reasons to make acca bets. The first and foremost is that it immediately lengthens the odds, even on selections that were favoured to win. This means you can increase the potential payout while maintaining a small stake. Acca betting is also used to increase bet customisation since you can add any type of bet to your acca bet. Between the enjoyment involved with building the bet, the flexibility, and the higher payouts, it’s no wonder why acca betting is one of the most popular options around.

What Are the Best Sports to Make Accumulator Bets?

The good news for those of you who are interested in acca bets is that they’re used in every sport out there. You can bet on pre-made acca bets or create your own using a sportsbook’s bet builder. The sky’s the limit! That being said, you’ll find the best acca bets are made in these sports:

Football (Soccer)

Football is a great sport for acca bets. Why? Because it has a massive betting market. Essentially, any sport that lets you bet on things from moneyline, to prop player bets, to over/under, to penalties and more, is going to be a good sport. With so many options to bet and bonuses to take advantage of (like free bets, which often must be placed on accas with three or more selections and odds 1.40 or higher), it’s no wonder why acca betting is so popular with football fans.

American Football

American football is another prime sport for acca bets because, once again, there are many different ways to bet on it. You can build an acca bet that wins all at once. For example, you can bet on a certain player to complete a touchdown, then for that team to have a touchdown in the last quarter, and then finally for that team to win. If that player you bet on makes a touchdown in the last quarter, winning his team the game, then you’ve just won your acca bet.

Soccer and football are just two prime examples, but realistically, any sport that offers many different things to bet on will work for acca betting, whether that’s a safer acca with a minimum of 2 selections or a riskier one with even more. Either way, your stake can naturally be lower than on a straight bet but still come with a much higher potential payout (which you can calculate on our accumulator return calculator).

Acca Calculator FAQs

🇬🇧What’s the difference between acca bets and parlay bets?

There is no difference and they function exactly the same. The only difference is you’re more likely to hear acca or accumulators in the UK/Europe and parlay bets in North America.

📊 How many selections should I include in my acca bet?

It’s entirely up to you how many selections to add to your bet. In general, however, most bettors will add between three and eight selections. The more selections you include, the higher the potential payout, but the lower the likelihood of your bet coming through.

🤔 Can I cash out acca bets early?

Yes, some leading bookmakers now allow you to cash out acca bets early. If four out of five selections have won, for example, you can cash out early to secure your winnings rather than risk losing the fifth. However, always check the terms of your bookie first.

🏁 Are straight bets or accas better for beginners?

Straight bets are more straightforward, making them easier to understand, though accas aren’t too far off and are absolutely beginner friendly.

👷 Can I build my own acca bet?

Yes, use the sportsbook’s bet builder to create your own accumulator wager.
