Who Are the Names in the Men's 100m Final at the Olympics 2024?

With the 100m Semi-Finals yet to take place, of which there are three in total, all of the sprinters who will be in the Men's 100m Final are yet to be decided. However, there are some names that will definitely be in the Men's 100m Final at the Paris Olympics, and you might well be aware of a few of them already.

Noah Lyles

USA's best hope, and one of the favourites to win gold, is Noah Lyles. The American has actually received a lot of criticism for his controversial character and has been called a love him or hate him guy by a few who know him.

Some Americans are unlikely to even be cheering Lyles on after his jibes at the NBA claiming they are wrong to call themselves world champions, which as you can imagine received backlash from both basketball players and fans.

Kishane Thompson

Sprinting for Jamaica and hoping to be the next Bolt is Kishane Thompson, the favourite for this years race. Boasting a speed of 9.77 in his country's Olympic trials, Thompson has made himself the joint-ninth fastest man of all time, as well as racing the fastest time worldwide in 2024.

There is a reason he is strong favourite to win the Men's 100m Final at the 2024 Olympics, so look out for Thompson as he hopes to speed home and win another gold for Jamaica in the 100m.

Lamont Marcell Jacobs

The Italian was the winner of the Men's 100m Final at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo and is looking to make history as only the third person in history to successfuly win gold in back-to-back Olympics in the 100m.

He will have a difficult job to do so, with many others deemed faster than the Italian, but that was also the case in Tokyo where he clinched gold, and he is confident in his chances of doing so again.
